Our Beliefs and Congregational Care

We Believe In Jesus:
John 3:16 in the Bible states,  "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life". The verse describes God's love and his plan for the happiness of his children. It explains that God sent his son, Jesus Christ, to earth because he knew life would be full of challenges and uncertainty. Jesus lived a sinless life, taught his gospel, and sacrificed his life for the sins of the world
We Believe In Loving Others:

Luke 6:31:
Do unto others as you would have them do to you.

The purpose of the Congregational Care Ministry is to show the love and compassion of Jesus and provide ways to meet the needs of our members by:

-Feeding the body, mind, and spirit in health by performing periodic wellness checks or assistance as needed.

-Provide resource contacts that can assist with a variety of house hold needs.

-Provide technology assistance and assist with using the tools available via the internet and social media.

-Creating partnerships with other agencies that assist the community.

The Ministry Teams of the Congregation Ministry are:


Shepherding Outreach Team(Elderly, College, Students, Youth)
This team is dedicated to providing wellness checks regularly to provide spiritual and relational support to make sure they are "well" and don't feel isolated.

Technology Support Team
This team assists with providing training and support with social media, PayPal, setting of tools for giving, and Internet assistance.

Community Partnership Team
This team partners with other churches and agencies to meet the need of the community such as Salvation Army, Angel Tree, DHR, Housing Authority, just to name a few.

Healthcare Team
This team provides the congregation and community with updates on any Health related concerns and assistance available in the area of health.

Meals on Wheels Team
This team provides meals to Home-bound members and their caretakers periodically and on special occasions.

Resource Assistance Team
This team provides a network of Information to assist in various areas.

If you need assistance finding resources in the community such as available housing/rentals, utility assistance, counseling contacts, handy-man/woman, businesses, and various areas of expertise to assist you.
